Congratulations to our Stylist of the Month for February Bailey! Bailey is a Stylist at our Des Moines, IA salon. We wanted to ask her a few questions about her and her time at Lady Jane’s!

LJ: Favorite part about cutting hair at LJ?

Stylist: Other salons just don’t compare to the way working at LJ feels! I love having the freedom to dress how I like, I love the girls I work with, and I love the support system I have with our corporate team!

LJ: Favorite sports team and why?

Stylist: I don’t have one, haha go sports!

LJ: What type of music do you listen to?

Stylist: I like a good mix of R&B, EDM, and alternative music

LJ: What hobbies do you enjoy in your free time?

Stylist: You’ll always catch me reading a book! I also enjoy video games and staying active

LJ: Clippers or scissors?

Stylist: I think scissor cuts are so fun!

LJ: What’s your favorite LJ product to use?

Stylist: Manipulator Matte by Bed Head is my go to. It’s creamy and versatile so you can do many different styles with it, and it smells amazing!

Stylist: A positive mindset creates a positive outcome

LJ: What made you want to be a cosmetologist?

Stylist: Honestly, it just seemed fun! I loved the idea of being creative in my work and making other people’s ideas come to life
