Congratulations to our Stylist of the Month for May Trisha, Trisha is a Stylist at our Madison Heights, MI salon. We wanted to ask her a few questions about her and her time at Lady Jane’s!

LJ: Favorite part about cutting hair at LJ?

Stylist: My coworkers, loyal clients, and our clients. Over 7 years at LJ’s, I have built such a relationship with every single one of them. They are like family to me and I’m so thankful for them!

LJ: Favorite sports team and why?

Stylist: I love Michigan football but now that Aidan Hutchinson left, I really love the Detroit Lions! I’d consider myself a huge Dan Campbell fan, also!

LJ: What type of music do you listen to?

Stylist: I am all over the place with music. I feel alternative/classic rock is my go-to.

LJ: What hobbies do you enjoy in your free time?

Stylist: I love animals so my own 3 animals consume so much of my time but I also enjoy volunteering for the shelter. I enjoy being outdoors and being active. Anything artsy I love. Spending time with my niece is my absolute favorite, any time spent with her is the best time!

LJ: Clippers or scissors and why?

Stylist: I prefer clippers because the lengths can be so versatile but I will always enjoy a good scissor cut.

LJ: What’s your favorite LJ product to use?

Stylist: If you can’t beat fear, do it scared.

LJ: What made you want to be a cosmetologist?

Stylist: Since I was a little girl, I have had such a passion for hair and makeup. Because college and a degree were so pressed, it wasn’t until my mid-twenties that I pursued my childhood dream of becoming a cosmetologist.
