Congratulations to our Stylist of the Month for October Erin! Erin is a stylist at our Clive, IA salon. We wanted to ask her a few questions about her and her time at Lady Jane’s!

LJ: Favorite part about cutting hair at LJ?

Erin: Favorite part about cutting at Lady Jane’s is… everything! The clients are awesome, the ladies I work with are the best and most talented people and I love getting to hang out with them every day. I love doing hair and I have the freedom at Lady Jane’s to use whatever tools and methods I want to give my clients a great haircut.

LJ: Favorite sports team and why?

Erin: I love the Pittsburg Steelers because of Troy Polamalu’s hair

LJ: What type of music do you listen to?

Erin: I love all the music! Anything except screamer

LJ: What hobbies do you enjoy in your free time?

Erin: Hobbies are going to movies, concerts, bookstores and coffee shops. Being outside in the sun is my favorite too.

LJ: Clippers or scissors?

Erin: I probably used to prefer shears but I’m really loving the fades lately.

LJ: What’s your favorite LJ product to use?

Erin: Favorite product probably is TIGI Molding Paste. So versatile!

LJ: 10-second pitch on why LJ is the only place for a guy to get a haircut

Erin: No other salon for men offers it all like Lady Jane’s - chill atmosphere, ability to schedule an appointment or walk in, extremely high quality hair cut and a reasonable price.

LJ: What is your motto to live by?

Erin: Be kind, you never know what battle someone is fighting.

LJ : What made you want to be a barber?

Erin: When I was a child my grandpa would let me “do his hair”, I’d spray him down and comb and blow dry, he was so patient, and I said I was his beautician so I guess it was meant to be!
