While we’ve been afforded so many blessings in life, we truly believe that we have a higher purpose: to give back. We could have easily given money to already-established causes, but it wouldn’t have given us the personal interaction we desire. With this principle in mind, we created Wicked Awesome Wishes as a means of giving back, setting out to establish a charity like no other. We consider WAW an honest-to-goodness, well-intentioned, non-profit organization based on the idea that charity is supposed to support the community of people who are in need and that helps people directly. People — down-to-earth, real people — helped us build our business and our livelihood. It is those people, often blue collar Detroiters, who form the basis of all we do. That’s why we formed our charity to support any individual in need and make their wishes come true.

Learn MoreTiffany is a 37 year old single mother of a teenage son and is fighting breast cancer. This journey began one year ago when she felt a lump in her right breast. Her OBGYN didn’t notice anything concerning during a routine breast exam, but agreed to write an order for a mammogram. A mammogram, ultrasound, biopsy, and a few doctor’s appointments later, she finally had an answer: It was breast cancer—stage II, estrogen reactive, HER2-positive invasive ductal carcinoma. Her treatment plan was developed and everything moved so quickly. She has completed 6 rounds of chemotherapy and immunotherapy followed by a bilateral mastectomy. the pathology report indicated a need for additional treatment, Tiffany is now more than halfway through 14 rounds of a combined immunotherapy and chemo infusion. Throughout this process, she has been reminded of what she is grateful for in life. She is appreciative of all the wonderful blessings she has, especially her beautiful family and wonderful friends. Lady Jane's Haircuts for Men, Birmingham Roast and Wicked Awesome Wishes are blessed to be able to help Tiffany and her son take a break from cancer treatments and enjoy our CEO's front row tickets to the Lions game this weekend. She is so excited for the opportunity to attend a Lions game with her son who is a serious sports fan. They have attended many sporting events in the past, but haven’t been able to attend any since her diagnosis.
