Alicia Bunch, COO of Lady Jane's, caught up with a very excited Aida to get a good look at the incredible girl who will represent Lady Jane's in 2022:
Position & Locations: Stylist/Manager, Shelby Township, MI
AB: When did you discover that you wanted a career in the beauty industry?
AS: I discovered that I wanted to be a stylist at a very young age.. I was about 6 years old.I remember going to the barber shop with my dad and sitting there watching his stylist Gina cut his hair and I just knew I wanted to be a stylist. I simply fell in love with the salon atmosphere!
AB: What interested you in being part of the Lady Jane's Team?
AS: What interested me most being part of the LJ team was seeing how many opportunities there are for growth as a stylist. I realized that you can become a very successful stylist as long as you are determined and dedicated. LJ saw potential in me, provided me with an awesome opportunity, and look where I am 4 years later... Lady Jane's Stylist of the Year!! Possibilities are endless.
AB: How long have you cutting in a LJ salon?
AS: I have been cutting in Lady Janes for 4 years!
AB: Why do you think you were selected as the LJ Girl for 2022?
AS: I believe I was selected to be Lady Jane's girl of the year because of my work ethic, uplifting/witty personality , and how determined I am to make every client that walks through the door feel as if they were part of the LJ family.
AB: What has been your most memorable LJ moment?
AS: Most memorable moment for me would be doing my very first Lady Jane's commercial back in 2018! It was something I experienced for the first time and I loved every single bit of it!
AB: How would you define success?
AS: Success is meeting personal goals every day and finding true happiness in everything you do. For me personally that is what determines the success of one's life.
AB: What haircut are you really digging right now for the fellas?
AS: The Burst fades, with a little bit of faux hawk action. The cut is super fun and edgy!
AB: Other than your career, what are you passionate about?
AS: I am most passionate about spending quality time with my family, my faith, as well as giving back to charities.
AB: What are three things you can’t live without?
AS: Three things I can’t live without are true crime podcasts, yoga, and a good book.
AB: What’s your motto/advice you live by?
AS: “Have a mind that is open to everything and attached to nothing.”
AB: Ten years from now, where will you be…
AS: I liked the person I was ten years ago very much but she had no clue where I’d be right now. My life is so much better than anything I could have imagined. It’s because of this that I don’t think the person I am today could possibly know anything about who or where I will be ten years from now. That is the beauty of life..Why narrow down the possibilities?

The three P's... Punctual, Persistent, and Positive. That's what makes a Wicked Awesome Sytlist!
Professionally I want to level up in every aspect of this career. To continue to grow and learn.
Now, personally…I would like to maintain my inner happiness and surround myself with positive and like minded people that want to see me succeed.
