Stevie Cooper and Victoria Franz, Co-COO's of Lady Jane's, caught up with a very eager Olivia to get a closer look at the remarkable stylist who will represent Lady Jane's in 2025:
SC: When did you discover that you wanted a career in the beauty industry?
Olivia: Probably since middle school I always wanted to do hair, then when I graduated cosmetology school I found Lady Jane’s and discovered my love for doing men’s haircuts.
SC: What interested you in being part of the Lady Jane's team?
Olivia: I loved how laid back the environment and how easy it is to build a clientele.
VF: When did you start working with LJ?
Olivia: I started with LJ 12 years ago - a day before my 20th birthday!
VF: Why do you think you were selected as the LJ Girl for 2025?
Olivia: I think I was selected because of my dedication to Lady Jane’s and I always give my 100% to each client. I bring a positive attitude to work every day whether I’m having a bad day or not.
SC: What has been your most memorable LJ moment?
Olivia: I loved when I traveled to Omaha for Lady Jane’s. I met the best people there and had a really great time. It didn’t even feel like I was there for work!
VF: At the salon you’re on your feet and dealing with all kinds of demands all day long. What is it about this place that keeps you motivated and inspired to come in and cut hair everyday?
Olivia: Everyday I come to work my clients and coworkers really motivate me. I’m very lucky I have such wonderful clients and I always have a laugh with them. That makes work easy and a joy to come to everyday.
SC: Other than your career, what are you passionate about?
Olivia: I am passionate about maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
VF: How would your best friend describe you?
Olivia: Good listener, laid back, caring.
SC: What are three things you can’t live without?
Olivia: My family, my friends, and coffee!
VF: What is one item that you splurge on?
Olivia: Shoes- I have way too many shoes!
SC: What is your favorite men’s styling product right now?
Olivia: My favorite styling product is the Bed Head Manipulator Matte. It smells so good and also works amazing for a matte natural look.
SC: What is your favorite LJ service we offer?
Olivia: I love doing the Elevated Sheet Mask service.
VF: What haircut are you really loving right now for the fellas?
Olivia: I’m loving a taper fade haircut!
VF: What’s your motto/advice you live by?
Olivia: “Be happy for what you have while working for what you want.”
SC: Ten years from now, where do you see yourself….
Olivia: I see myself growing more with this company personally and professionally.
