Stevie Cooper, Co-COO of Lady Jane's, sat down with Tayler to talk to the spectacular stylist who will represent Lady Jane's in 2025:
SC: Why do you think you were selected as the LJ Rookie for 2025?
Tayler: My hard work and dedication to blossom and be a team player. My skills have improved tremendously and I am a hard worker.
SC: What interested you in being part of the Lady Jane's team?
Tayler: I wanted to expand my skills and gain more experience with men’s hair. It is a great company to work for!
SC: When did you start with LJ?
Tayler: I started LJ Spring of 2024!
SC: When did you discover that you wanted a career in the beauty industry?
Tayler: As a young kid I grew up around and developed a love for hair. I knew a long time ago that this was my calling.
SC: What has been your most challenging LJ moment so far?
Tayler: My most challenging moment was getting myself out of training. Everyone is different and I worked and worked at it but never gave up! I am blossoming now!
SC: What men's haircut are you really loving right now?
Tayler: Bald fades, very in right now!
SC: What is your favorite LJ service we offer?
Tayler: Scalp massages because they are most definitely relaxing!
SC: What are three things you can’t live without?
Tayler: Music, coffee, family!
SC: What is one item that you splurge on?
Tayler: Clothes!
SC: How would your best friend describe you?
Tayler: Loving, caring, hard working.
SC: At the salon you’re on your feet and dealing with all kinds of demands all day long. What is it about this place that keeps you motivated and inspired to come in and cut hair everyday?
Tayler: The ability to make someone feel good about themselves. The smiles I get to see or when the clients face lights up gives me such joy. LJ has a great environment.
SC: Other than your career, what are you passionate about?
Tayler: I’m most passionate about my family and music. Family is super important to me. Music makes the world go round.
SC: What’s your motto/advice you live by?
Tayler: If you are not willing to risk the unusual, you will have to settle for the ordinary.
